Prices
These include all expenses as outlined in the itineraries, brochures, or website. They are subject to change based on amendments done by our suppliers. This is advised before booking payments are received
Transportation
Transportation, transfers, excursions, and tours shall be by our safari vehicles which include 4x4 wheel tour vans, land cruisers, tour shuttles, safari minibuses, and saloon cars, executive SUVs. On special request, we can organize a 4x4 land cruiser or Mercedes tourist truck but the cost is slightly higher.
Bookings
A deposit of 50% of the cost of the safari shall be required for any booking reservation and the package should be cleared at least 5 days before traveling. 30% deposit for lipa pole pole option reservation and clearance done in installments
Payments
All safaris must be fully paid for before the commencement of the safari (at least 5 days before traveling)
Safari orientations
For group joining safaris, clients will share the safari vehicles and rooms with other clients and are therefore advised to be good-natured and mindful of other travelers to avoid disagreements and unnecessary arguments. It is a good opportunity to network and make new friends while on safari
Be prepared to encounter customs and habits which may be different from your own and form part of the adventure.
Change of itineraries
The sequence of itineraries is normally adhered to but the company reserves the right to make alterations occasioned by weather, road works, high season congestion, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation
In case a booking is canceled the following cancellation fees shall apply.
- No-show = 100%
- 1-7 Days = 75%
- 7 – 14 days =50%
- Above 14 days = 25%
The specific hotels and, trains and airline cancellation policies will apply.
Liability
Whilst every care is taken, the company shall not be held liable for loss or damage to personal property, accidents, and death and clients are advised to get relevant travel insurance.
Sub-contract
The company reserves the right to subcontract any part or full safari and in the event of such sub-contract, all the above terms will apply.
Visas
Visas are at the discretion of the immigration office (s ) and Makiadi Expeditions doesn’t have control over them. Visa fees are not refundable even when it is not processed on time.
Makiadi is not liable for visa delays or any cost implication arising from this delay.
Flights and Trains
Clients are to cross check flight/train timings and names of the flights/trains including their names at the time of booking and rectify before tickets have been issued. Any changes after and or missing of flight/train, the cost will be borne by the client.
Makiadi Expeditions is not liable for errors arising from this and subsequent costs.
Travel Insurance
It is a requirement to have travel insurance for any holiday taken
Marketing
The company reserves the right to use pictures, videos and related material gathered during its service provision for its marketing purposes.
