ECO-TOURISM AND CULTURAL PROGRAMME
MtoWaMbu Village has an active cultural program that aims to exhibit to tourists the traditional way of life of the people through a variety of events and community initiatives. You may tour popular attractions in the area, sample Tanzanian cuisine, and engage in real cultural interactions.
Each activity is paid a nominal fee, which is subsequently used to fund income-generating initiatives such as the manufacture of energy-efficient stoves and the building of irrigation systems. Students will find the hamlet and its residents to be an excellent source of Tanzanian information. Everyday themes as well as more sophisticated ones such as politics, history and culture, animals, and mythology can be investigated.
